Luthiers Exchanging Information

Early in 2012 members of the Mid-Atlantic Luthiers decided to use their collective talents to build a guitar that would be donated to charity. They choose the charity "Guitars for Vets." (guitars4vets.org) The members decided all raw materials and products used in the build must be sustainable and native to our country.

The guitar will be auctioned off with all the proceeds going to "Guitars for Vets." Guitars for Vets uses the healing power of music to help our military veterans by providing free private lessons and a new acoustic guitar at VA medical and community-based Veteran centers.
